Recently one of our members, Tyler Jaworski, completed his Eagle Scout project at our station. Tyler, his family, and other members of Scout Troop 320 built and completed the long awaited showcase for the station as you walk in our front doors. This is one of many projects our members have waited to see finished since the firehouse was renovated in 2006. The showcase turned out fantastic, and will be an excellent way to display and instill company pride with many fire department awards, artifacts, etc.

Tyler has been a member of LVFD for 4 years, beginning as a junior firefighter. He has been with the Boy Scouts for 10 years, and will receive the honor of Eagle Scout in the coming months. The project was able to be completed entirely by Tyler’s fundraising and over 180 volunteer hours from the members of Boy Scout Troop 320. Tyler plans to enroll in the 2018-2019 EST program and continue his education in the fire service, hoping to become a riding member within the next year.

Congratulations, Tyler, and thank you for your generous donation and dedication to our fire company.
