Haunted Hayride Frequently Asked Questions:
How many wagons are in operation?
There are 10 wagons, though the number in operation is based on rider volume.
How often do the wagons leave?
The wagons leave approximately every 6 minutes.
Are the rides chaperoned?
Yes, a fire department volunteer rides with each wagon and all tractor operators have been screened by the fire department.
If my child is too frightened to ride the hayride is there child care provided?
This is a difficult question to answer. Fright-factor is subjective and not quite so easy to gauge. We try to provide entertainment for the whole family, but some children frighten easily. On the other hand, some children won't be frightened at all. For those of you worried about the easily frightened child, we recommend the unhaunted Bedlam Bypass ride offered on October 14 & 21 from 2 - 4 PM during the day. It provides the autumn fun without fear of fright!!
How long does the ride last?
Our ride usually last between 30-35 minutes covering 3 miles.
What happens if the weather is bad?
The Hayride may be canceled in the event of inclement weather. The House of Horror is open Rain or Moonshine. If in doubt please call 410-239-GHOST / 410-239-4467
Am I able to exit the ride after the wagon pulls out?
No, unless there is a medical emergency.
If my child is too frightened to ride the hayride is there child care provided?
No, unfortunately we do not have the staff to look after your children. However, we do offer the Bedlam Bypass on October 14th & 21th.
